The authorities are demanding of the people Help identify the suspect who attempted to rob the National City Bank of America last week.

On January 18 at 4:30 a.m. an unknown male entered the bank, at 235 East St., approached the teller and presented a demand note. The man fled on foot when the speaker did not pay.

The suspect is described as a light-compacted Hispanic male, approximately 6′ tall, thin with short black hair, a goatee and a mole on his left cheek. He is believed to be in his late 30s to early 40s.

He was wearing a Puma baseball cap, a black puffy jacket and black pants.

The FBI San Diego Field Office and the Joint Bank Robbery Task Force are investigating.
