Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Tu Jhuthi Main Makkah’ has finally crossed the century mark at the Indian Box Office (Net Collection). This feat has been achieved in 11 days flat, which is impressive. After Shah Rukh Khan’s earth-shattering comeback Pathan in 2023, it has now become Bollywood’s second 100 crore earner.
Directed by Luv Ranjan, the rom-com opened to overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics. However, word of mouth was mixed among the public. Even so, the film has already performed well by crossing the Rs 100 crore mark before completing its second week run.
Tu Jhuthi Main Makkar’s second Friday saw a significant drop as screens were split between DC’s Shazam 2, Rani Mukerji’s Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway, Kapil Sharma’s Zwigato and Upendra’s pan-India film Khazhar. Today needed time to pick up the pace and the rom-com has done what it needed to do.
As per the early custom, ‘Tu Jhuthi Mai Makkah’ is being earned between 5.30-5.60 crores In 11 days. After a good opening in the morning, the film picked up really well in the evening and night shows, thus moving towards a healthy jump compared to yesterday. 3.75 crore*. The 11-day total now ranges anywhere in between 101.49-101.79 crores.
Now, the stage is set and the movie is expected to go up again tomorrow.
